Santa Ana, Calif. - High Performance Systems, LLC (HPS), the company specializing in the world's finest supercharger systems for Mercedes-Benz automobiles, announced today that they will be extending their introductory pricing on the second generation supercharger system.
Intro pricing is fixed at $7,500 regardless of model until February 1, 2007. HPS currently has applications for 15 models of 1998 to present Mercedes-Benz vehicle, with more being added each day.
On February 1, pricing will begin at $7,500 for some models, but two additional tiers will be added. The three tiers will be $7,500, $8,500, and $9,000.
"Even at $9,000 on the top end, HPS still represents the best value proposition in the marketplace," said Adam Follman, vice president of sales and marketing. "Where else can you buy 100 horsepower for under $10,000 on a Mercedes?"
The second-generation system is even more potent than the bolt-on before it. Highlights include:
-Magnuson Radix fifth generation MP112 Eaton supercharger
-Water-to-air intercooling system
-Peak boost up to seven pounds per square inch (psi)
-Supercharger whine significantly reduced
-Horsepower and torque gains up to 100
The system is available for just about all V8-powered Mercedes-Benz vehicles including C-, CL-, CLK-, E-, G-, ML-, S-, SL- Class models.

We took a great product and made it even better with more power, better cooling efficiency, and a dramatic reduction of NVH."
